Our Team

Meet Casey Primmer McVey. Casey is originally from Golden, but moved to Conifer about 2 years ago with her husband.  She has 2 dogs, a very spoiled cat, and her horse will be moving back home soon.  She continually challenges herself to keep up with the latest techniques in veterinary medicine so that she can provide the very best care to all of our patients.  Her and her husband are very active and take advantage of the great outdoors whenever they can by 4-wheeling, hiking, horseback riding, camping, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing.  When you do find Casey indoors, she is probably curled up with a good mystery novel getting ideas for the book she hopes to write someday.

Meet Laura Vasko.   Laura has lived in the Evergreen area for more than 13 years and worked with us since April, 2008.   She has a cat named Layla who she considers her "furry" daughter.  Working at Mountain Parks has been a rewarding experience for Laura who finds the work interesting, challenging, and so fulfilling.  She loves to ski and take tropical vacations.  She is also busy planning her wedding to long time boyfriend Ryan and pursuing her education in Veterinary Technology.

Meet Helene Noone.   Helene is a Colorado native who decided to move to Evergreen when she met her husband Jason (who she married in October, 2007).  When she's not working, she's probably busy volunteering for a pet rescue organization - as a foster family or helping find new homes for pets in need.  She's got a houseful of pets, including her 3 dogs - Sadie, Hefe, and Raisen, her 3 cats - Tabasco, Peepers and Monkey Boy, and whatever dog she may have in her foster care on its way to its new home.  She also enjoys spending quality time with her husband and family who are still in Denver.

Meet Mary Ellen Wickham.  Mary Ellen has lived in Colorado for over 14 years after growing up in Ohio and living in Arizona.  She is married with 2 sons, 2 Australian Shepherds, and 2 cats.  She enjoys hiking, campling, gardening, scrapbooking and volunteering.  She is also a geologist!  She is proud of the entire MPVH team's dedication to keeping our animal friends happy & healthy.

Meet Matt Harkins.  Matt is an Evergreen native!  He has tried to move away but the lure of the mountain lifestyle keeps brining him back.  He enjoys landscape and wildlife painting as well as sculpting.  He loves animals and is passionate about providing care for them.  In addition to all the pets he takes care of at work, he's got Tanner, a Yellow Lab and a cat of his own.

Meet Greg Devereaux.  Greg is our unofficial Head Camp Counselor.  He has been at Mountain Adventure Camp & Pet Lodge for over three years, running our group camp most weekday mornings.  Greg and his wife Karen are also proud pet parents to Harley & Inca, both gorgeous black labrador retrievers and Caley, their cat who makes all of the house rules.

Meet Sara Pyle.  More about Sara coming soon!

Meet Renee Erb.  Renee loves taking care of dogs and getting to know the different breeds and their unique personalities!  That's why she finds time to work with us in addition to her full-time job with the disabled, her volunteer commitments with HOBO Boxer Rescue, and being a mother to her 2 kids.  She has boundless energy and also finds time to hike, watch movies and play with her own 4 boxers and any foster dogs in her care.  Although she's lived in Evergreen for over 26 years, she is originally from Upstate New York and most of her family still lives on the East Coast.

Meet Lydia Brown.  Lydia loves animals and people - and it's obvious whenever she's at work!  She has lived in the Conifer area for the last several years, after growing up in Ohio where she attended Ohio State University and graduated with a degree in Animal Science.  She is married, has 3 children, and an English Setter.  She really enjoys living in Colorado and hiking with her dogs, reading, gardening, making jewelry and cards, or just relaxing with her husband.

Meet Kinslei Salisbury.  Kinslei has lived in the Evergreen area for about 10 years, but really "grew up" in Utah.  She loves doing anything outside.... hiking, camping, fishing, you name it!  She also enjoys playing inside and outside with her son Braylon, born July 2009.  She is passionate about her love for animals and showers her family's pets (Toa, an Alaskan Malamute and Dipp, a Main Coon cat) with all sorts of affection when she's visiting their house.  She's planning to grow her immediate family soon with an animal to share their home - but is waiting for Braylon to tell her what kind of animal he wants to adopt!

Kinslei's huge devotion to animals, and especially dogs is reflected in that she plans to make a life long career working with them.  In the Fall of 2010, she is starting to further her education on animals with online classes to become a Certified Dog Trainer.

Meet Heidi Alcott.  More about Heidi coming soon!

Meet Heather Schaible.  More about Heather coming soon!

Meet Elise Altman.  Elise was born in New Jersey, but spent her life on the beaches of South Florida before moving to Atlanta to attend college.  She lived and worked there until her and Dr. Altman discovered the beauty of Evergreen and moved here to take over the hospital in August, 2008.

Elise is both our Practice Manager and mom to Jordan Samuel (born March 2008).  When she's not busy at the clinic or chasing Jordan around, you'll probably find her working with one of the many Evergreen area non-profit organizations that she volunteers for.  Her #1 passion is in supporting the local community in any and every way possible!
